Who is Brock Turner?

The January 2015 assault - digital penetration - was stopped by two men on bicycles who noticed that the victim wasn't moving, authorities said. Turner, who was 19 at the time, fled, but the witnesses tackled him and held him until police arrived, according to the Santa Clara District Attorney's Office.

He was found guilty in March of three felony charges: assault with intent to commit rape of an intoxicated/unconscious person, penetration of an intoxicated person and penetration of an unconscious person.

This week we added Brock Turner onto the active sex offender registry. Ohio added him on Tuesday and we made sure to get him on ours as well. Woah, a "celebrity", everyone knows who he is. But do I? One of the people who adds offenders onto the registry? I have to say that I don't know too much about him.

I can tell you this... 6 months for a crime that was clear cut rape is not enough time... NOT ENOUGH TIME - HIS VICTIM will live with it for the rest of HER LIFE.

Brock Turner, you disgust me - I am happy to have you on our sex offender registry for the public to know where you are so they can keep their sisters, wives and daughters away from you!

I have read between 52% and 90% of sex offenders re-commit their crime. That's more than a 50/50 chance. And how many times does the average sex offender commit a crime before being caught? Some say more than a FEW DOZEN TIMES! WOAH!!!!

Do you think sex offenders should be re-released after committing a sexual crime? Will Brock Turner learn from his mistakes and be a productive member of his community once again?
